Just like a ‘traditional’ dry heat or steam sauna, infrared sauna makes you sweat!

Infrared saunas at Weightless Float Center are an effective tool for natural healing and prevention. The low-frequency infrared light has the ability to penetrate into the muscle tissue (up to 2 inches deep!) which agitates water molecules deep within our muscle tissue, causing us to sweat, which in-turn produces a host of anti-aging health benefits.

SAUNA THEN FLOAT or FLOAT THEN SAUNA?

It’s entirely up to you! Some guests like to sit in the sauna after a float as they “come back online”, and some guests prefer a sauna to cut through the initial layer of the day’s stress, then a shower, then to hop into their float sessions. You choose.

the flow

  1. Arrive and fill out your sauna wavier if you have not already done it online, or if you have not used our infrared saunas before.

  2. We'll show you to your sauna room, give you some brief instructions on our saunas' operation, and highlight our rooms amenities including a robe, water, towels, yoga mat, and essential oil diffuser.

  3. Change into your clothes for sauna, a robe provided, or simply undress and sit on a towel in the sauna.

  4. Enjoy!

  5. You may, at any point step out of the sauna to stretch, drink some water, or breathe our selected essential oil blend **if at any time you feel light headed or faint step out immediately, if the sauna becomes too hot either open the roof vent or simply open the sauna door**

  6. When your sauna session is over: step out, cool off, change, and enjoy our lounge or, if you have booked a float, make your way to your float room.

**WE DO NOT PROVIDE SHOWERS AFTER SAUNA SESSIONS UNLESS YOU ARE GOING INTO A FLOAT SESSION**
